Well, it happened, and it was only a matter of time. Xander made it onto the cover of Vogue Magazine. It is no surprise here that Xander made it onto the cover, he is a well-rounded man with a great mind as he says. As a result, there needed to be a cover for the magazine and one of the assignment bank assignments just happened to be to create a Vogue cover for someone. Therefore, I decided to create a magazine cover for Xander as he was the latest celebrity to make the front page. As you can see, he is main point on the front page with various pieces of text around and behind him. I use an AI chatbot to create the image because I needed to have Xander on te front and not some random clipart. Also, it was interesting to see a certain aspect of the image after its creation. I think that the AI chatbot drew inspiration from Tony Stark and the Iron Man films because if you look at Xander’s chest, it looks like there is an arc reactor powering his heart. This was really cool and interesting to see mainly because it was unexpected from the image generator stating that I have never spoken to given it prompts that are related to Iron Man. You can also see in the background the actual title of the magazine along with his name and different accolades and technologies that he has invented. I really enjoyed creating this cover because it turned out to be something that might actually be on the cover of a magazine one day and it was interesting to see how the image generator took inspiration from a place (Iron Man) when I have never spoken or said anything about it and so that was cool to see.
For one this week’s assignment bank assignments, I chose to do a visual assignment in which we had to create a collage of a place where the 4 seasons of the year are shown profoundly. So, I thought to myself, what better place than New York? All of these images are taken at Central Park in New York from very similar spots. As you can see, the winter transforms the area into a winter wonderland where everything you see is covered with snow and ice. Right next to that we have spring, here we can see that the brush and trees are starting to come back and the sky is very overcast due to the mass amounts on rain during the Spring time, so that is also well represented in this picture. You can also see that some people are still bundled up from the aftermath of winter and can be concluded that the weather is still not fully back to spring/summer time weather. Moving on, the bottom left picture represents the summer time up in Central Park, in which all of the trees are back and they are radiating so much green color and brightens up the picture so much. Everyone is out in shorts and short sleeves to indicate the end of the warm/cold Spring time and the start of the hotter summer time. They are all on boats on the river that runs through the area, which in fact was frozen in the Winter picture, and it seems like everyone is having a great time. The sky is blue, the sun is out, and the nature is radiating color and to me, is a perfect representation of what summer time should be like. Finally, we get to the fall season. Here we can see that the leaves are starting to turn yellow, indicating fall season and the transition from summer to fall and fall to winter. There are not as many people out on the water due to the colder temperatures but the nature in the area still radiating that yellow color and make the picture look really nice. I really enjoyed creating this collage because it allowed me to take a second and sit back and look at the different seasons in Central Park and see how they really changed the look and feel of the area.
The Create your own room assignment, is about doing exactly that.
Ever thought of creating your own dream room? Now you can! Using AI create pinterest find rooms, furniture, colors etc. From there write a blog post about why you chose everything! This is your dream so make it as crazy and out of the box that you can think of!
I benefit from taking time out, especially if I can find a room or location that’s quiet. It’s not uncommon for it to be a challenge to find a quiet place that’s free from sound, even the most smallest incidental sound.
That’s why my dream room is an acoustic anechoic chamber – a “room designed to stop reflections or echoes of either sound”. The kind of room where I can take some time out and feel like “I Am Sitting in a Room” before emerging refreshed and fully-equipped to reengage with the world around me.
My image was generated with Image Creator from Microsoft Designer (Powered by DALL·E 3), using the prompt “Low wide angle. Interior of an acoustic anechoic chamber with soft red light and a single comfortable chair in the middle facing forward, realistic digital art.”
For the Mimicry is the best form of flattery assignment, use a vector or raster graphic software to mimic your favorite artist work but use your own design.
Doing my best to bring a Mondrian-esque Composition with Red Blue and Yellow to the iconic Flinders Street Railway Station in the City of Melbourne.
My image was generated with Image Creator from Microsoft Designer (Powered by DALL·E 3), using the prompt “Extreme close-up. Flat cubist style facing Flinders Street Station in Melbourne Australia, only in very thick red, blue, yellow and black colour lines.”
These AI-generated images feel too detailed and just quite not minimal enough to be truly Mondrian, for me. Perhaps some super-aggressive cropping could help to bring out the magic of Mondrian minimalism.
I chose the song “Crunk Ain’t Dead” by Duke Deuce, since I would listen to crunk music constantly when I was in high school. The genre slowly faded, but this song reminded people of the endless hype it brings. I listen to it rarely but every time I do, it brings my energy up.
Since the start of college, I’ve always wanted a minimalistic room. But, I soon realized that I was just used to a simple room. After looking through some designs, I am eager to change up my room and add some stuff. If I make some money, I want a room that has a similar look and vibe to the image up top. The color is simple enough where it doesn’t feel too much.
I want to add a bigger desk for work stuff and gaming in my room. I like the cleanliness of this image, but I would change the colors. After that, my room is complete.
Using PhotoChrome, I entered the word “Artificial Intelligence”, and this was the image that was created. The colors used were all near grey and blue. I assume that this is since the color blue can be associated with technology in a way. The color grey is due to the images with city buildings and computer hardware.

In Adobe Illustrator, I uploaded the Les Misérables theater sign and on a second layer, the sheet music, A Heart Full of Love. The sheet music had a white background, which I changed to overlay, to be able to see through it. I lowered the opacity to 75% and stretched layer one horizontally to bring the blue hue over. The words are not legible on the sheet music, but the effect is artistic. This artwork ties into the AI theme due to this being production my character’s favorite movie.
The cartoon ad assignment with so much potential I had to try.
Have you ever thought a particular cartoon character would make a great advertiser? Well here’s your chance. Take an existing product or even a regular item and have a cartoon character do their best salesman impression.
I chose this one because I love making designs, especially for odd things like this. This assignment tells the story of Snow White becoming an ambassador for Airbnb because she is the perfect example of what not to do. She decides to break in and sleep in dwarf beds instead of: asking, finding a friend (she knows all of the animals in the forest they gotta have a place), making her own shelter, or literally just any other option. This post doesn’t hold too much meaning as you can only convey so much in an advertisement and it was made by me so I wouldn’t hold too many serious story elements in it beyond a laugh.
I used Canva again because it is perfect for quick and easy designs like this one. To perfect my craft I looked up examples of Airbnb billboards and riffed off of their well-known design that pop up everywhere. Past that, it was as easy as finding the image of Snow White about to be clubbed and plopping it into Canva.
