This was the second video assignment I did this week, but the first incorporating my character. I used a poem called White Towels by Richard Jones and generated images of my character that worked well with the poem. Give it a watch and let me know what you think.
This was the first of three video assignments I did this week and the only one not incorporating my character. I have watched many movies and tv shows with music on in the background so this felt right up my alley. I used the alien taking the asteroid scene from Asteroid City and Vertigo by Khalid in the background. Let me know what you think!
Upon looking through the Assignment Bank, I just knew I had to do the TikTok of your pet. I have endless pictures and videos of bumi on my phone. Bumi is a very mysterious and calm cat. Him being silly consists of eating the food I’m preparing, looking out windows and wagging his tail, sitting on my laptop as I sit down to do my assignments, and so much more.
I used TikTok to make this and add a sound to my video. I hope you guys enjoy this little clip of him licking the faucet and getting seen!
Now a fact that I have not shared yet about my character is that Chuckles is cat man, he’s got 13 domestic short-haired cats, whereas I have just one! He’s even done a comedy show talking about each cat each night. Those who attended Chuckles’s shows don’t know they were all about his cats though..

I was so inspired by One Fish Two Fish Red Fish Blue Fish – My blog (andrewpoon.org), that I follows his steps within his post and created one of my character, Natasha Sidorov.
I used the avatar that I created on https://www.photoleapapp.com and uploaded it to Blabberize.com. By selecting the area around the mouth, it will have movement. I used the microphone on my computer to recite the haiku poem. Moonlit Reverie, by Kate Davies. On that site you can save as a video file, so I saved it, uploaded it to YouTube and then embedded it in post. The mouth saved in an open position however, showing a black circle around. I did not try to make the circle around the mouth smaller at the start, try that edit if you go to that site, for a more polished result.
Here is an instant replay of a double play during the State Championship game back in 2022. I slowed the video down during the replay to 0.5 speed and added some nice background music to the video as well to give it a nice ring!
For my this video assignment, I chose the make a top 10 or ranking video assignment from the bank. I used CapCut and TikTok for creating, editing, and adding a song. End of Beginning, a song by Joe Keery led to a major trend on TikTok where users add the song lyrics over a video or pictures of a place special to them. The following lyrics are what created the trend:
And when I’m back in Chicago, I feel it
Another version of me, I was in it
I wave goodbye to the end of beginning
Chicago gets replaced with whatever place the creator wishes to use.
I made my video about my recent trip to Pakistan this past December. I included the highlights of my trip which included some of my favorite foods, weddings I attended, and just my everyday activities from that month!
For this video, the prompt was to combine a video and audio to create a message. I downloaded the tiger video from Tiger, Predator, Dangerous. Free Stock Video – Pixabay. The download was easy to import into Premiere Pro because the format was MP4. First, I put a sound video with it from Freesound. It was ordinary, so I gave it more thought today and listened to several rock songs with tiger in it, such as Eye of the Tiger by Survivor, Tiger Lily by The Band and Tiger by the Cult. They were all too rough and did not work. I went with Sweet Dreams by Annie Lennox, as the beat matches the cadence of the tiger. This audio was a download on YouTube, then I used YouTube to MP4 converter | Wave.video to covert it to MP4, so that I could save in my computer and import it into Premiere. I copied and pasted the tiger video twice to make it longer and I cut the audio to make it shorter.
