When Two Worlds Collide

Daily Create – Fractalized Art

The Zazow art tool has various tools you can play around with to create quite an interesting piece of art. I liked how you could zoom in and out of it and the details would just further expand. It was never boring.

I wanted something with contrast/clear difference of a border within the art. You can see how the left side is very subtle, whereas the right side is the exact opposite. Which is why I chose to name it “When Two Worlds Collide”. I also added the Pearl Coloring Effect which can be seen in the pear shaped structure. I chose this effect since it adds almost like a different “texture”. It’s whimsical, bright, and eye-catching effect makes it stand out from the rest of the art.

I was also playing around with zooming in and out of it and here’s another angle that I really liked.

I zoomed in and changed the color scheme for this one. To me it looks like a diamond that was just found covered in mud and water. The angle makes it appear as if it’s a diamond and then the muddy orange and blue hues represent mud and water.

Who dropped their diamond in the mud??!

The steps to create this video were to select an avatar on https://www.d-id.com from the library of options available on their website. You can upload one of your own, if you prefer. You can do the audio on that site, if you have an upgraded account option, otherwise you can only type in ten words. Many options are free of charge on the site. If you created these videos frequently or wanted to have the lovely option of having talking heads in your PowerPoint presentations, it is worth the $29 a month for the pro plan. On AI Voice Generator & Text to Speech | ElevenLabs, I created the audio MP3 using the voice of Lily and downloaded it. Then I returned to d-id.com and uploaded the audio MP3, pressed generate and it synced the avatar with the spoken words. I opened up Premiere Pro and imported it into a new project. On https://freesound.org, I downloaded the sounds in the link Freesound – Analysis Loop by Ehved, which is soft music. I imported the music on a layer in my project and reduced the volume of it by right clicking on it, scrolling down to audio gain and selecting -12. I tried -10 first, but it was still too loud to be the background of a speaker. Then on the audio of the avatar layer, I right clicked and increased the volume by selecting +5, this is done with the same audio gain button as before. I played it, to see if it was successful and exported it as a MPEG4. On YouTube, I uploaded it in my account and copied the link, to embed here.

This week I started by making my three daily creations that were required.

Listed in order; Daily Dragons, Fractalized Art, and What’s your Addiction?

My favorite of the three daily creations was “My Addiction” because Battlefield 1 was and still is the best masterpiece of gaming I have ever been a part of. Although created 8 years ago, the graphic designs are on point, allowing the user to choose various multiplayer options with servers still being open.

Following this, my group for the ds106 radio audio project will dive into the aspects of different AI characters and their role in modern society. I am happy to be teaming up with Andrew Poon and Jackson Beale to create exciting content for all viewers.

Lastly, my sales pitch to Aggressive Technologies for the purchase of Claude AI came out very successful. I am interested to see where this takes my character in terms of his career.

The avatar looks like way that I pictured Natasha Sidorov looking like. I am all about the talking avatar now and am planning more projects to include that element!

Week 8

Each week I open this class workload expecting to be on my computer for 15 hours plus like what we were doing at the start of the semester. However each time I open it, and I see it is only a couple of things to get done, I get happy. The reason I get happy when I open this class workload is because I have come so far since the beginning to now.

I was honestly thinking about dropping this class, but I am happy that I stayed. This class has been so much fun and creative. I have learned so much about different things like creating videos, sounds, and websites.

This class is everything I wanted, and I am happy that I stayed to see the beauty in this class.

Week eight was so much fun letting my mind and fingers flow onto a word document. We were asking to create a tool that Aggressive Technologies would want to work with and or acquire it. I made mine as a letter style which you are able to read about down below by clicking the picture:

The next assignment we needed to do for the week would be complete three daily creates which by now everyone should know they are my favorite thing about this class.

Letter to Aggressive Technologies

Good evening Aggressive Technologies,

My name is Josh and I currently work here as a mechanic for flying cars. I was the one who got picked up by you all about 5 years ago. Durning my time here, working with different kind of technologies, I have noticed that we do indeed need more updated Artificial Intelligence within the company.

Right now, all of the AI voices that we are giving the people sound like robots. That is not what the people want to hear. The people have spoken many times before telling us that the voices are our downfall, and we need to fix that. We need to make the buyers want more! If we fix this issue then Aggressive Technologies will be able to gain more money as well as buyers.

I have investigated this website, and I am here to say that I believe we need to jump on this offer because it will help them out, so they do not go out of business. This company has declined very fast because they only have a few voices that sound real and others that still have the robot sound to them.

Aggressive Technologies, we could pick out the good voices they do have and then do a counteroffer of 1.5% of each car. I believe this is what we have been waiting for, a breakthrough like this could really improve our profit. We could put anything that needs to be said in the box so the phrases could be endless. Our cars would have unique voices in them making them stand out against the other flying cars company.

Weekly Summary: wk 8

This week was pretty easy, I had to reach out to other classmates which I enjoyed and we started to collaborate for our radio show. I also enjoyed finding an AI tool that can help out in class and help each other. I picked a AI tool called HyperWrite, in this app it helps you with creating ideas on writing an assignment, as well as, rewriting assignments it also offers different templates depending on your projects. I find it pretty cool to look at other students AI tools that can also help us do our assignments. This week assignments were pretty short.

What’s my Addiction

For today’s daily create I am talking about something I can’t go a day without. With out being said my addiction is coffee. I have a cup every morning. I feel like I can’t function throughout the day without my coffee in the morning. It wakes me up in the working and it keeps me going throughout the day. I prefer cold brew, but I don’t mind a hot coffee especially on colder days.

Addiction is something many people in the world struggle with every single day. This is when somebody relies on something for their every day life to go on. I am addicted to food. I could not go a day without food because I love it so much as well as you need food to stay alive.
