I think this image is pretty funny. I think it would be funny if everyone in the class received a participant handbook. Everyone is a winner in DS106, here’s a participation trophy!

When I searched ds106 on google.com this was one of the images that popped up lol. I don’t know what ds106 has to do with cereal dispensers so this is what made me laugh about the whole thing. Here’s the link if you want to check it out https://www.katom.com/209-DS106.html.

As we finished our first ever production of Three Point Chatter, I want to build off of my AI character, Jonathan, and his involvement with Aggressive Technologies. I plan to build my video about manipulating others to join the power of Aggressive Technologies since it is becoming the most forceful entity in the United States, you are either with it or not. Those who are not with it will fall in the dust and left behind for the cleanup. Something new that I tend to incorporate is having a AI voice ask questions to my Jonathan. I picked this up after listening to ds106 Radio yesterday. My main factor will be propaganda to influence people to join with the program (Aggressive Technologies), hoping they will not be left out of cutting edge artificial intelligence & market opportunities to make a boat load of money. I will most likely use iMovie to create sounds and edits so that my video comes out straight.
Pretty chill week overall in this class but this was probably my busiest school week yet of the semester. I was finishing up research with my psych research team and doing data analyses on our numbers. I also had exams to study for and take and had some other personal things to do. The daily creates were fun this week and so was the radio. The upcoming projects are going to be difficult but I’m going to try and get ahead in them and get started early. Hope everyone else had a good week too! Work embedded below!
I found the directions of the upcoming project kind of dull, but I also like the free room to roam and brainstorm. I understand fundamentally what we have to do but it’s been kind hard for me to think of ideas. I kind of want to try a deepfake video or like a movie edit. I also kind of want to maybe do something with music and recreate a nostalgic time in history to elicit some nostalgia. I think I can mix all of that into a video somehow and will definitely try. This one will require some help so definitely going to the DKC and also am willing to work with anyone in a group for these upcoming projects if anyone is willing! I will definitely invest more time into them too, if anyone is down let me know!
Ah man I hate listening to myself talk so I was a bit hesitant to listen in to the show and wait for myself to do my part, which I was decently proud about how I spoke. I usually have trouble speaking like stuttering and mumbling but I think I did ok. My group killed it and so did everyone else, but I eventually did shut it off for my part haha. I hope some people liked it and I’m sure nobody really ended up caring. The things you can do with technology are really cool, and I learned that listening in to the shows. Great job to everyone on their themes and shows and full production!
Today’s daily create was to search engine or AI “ds106” and see what would come up. I used FireFox and found some weird stuff. I saw DS-160 Immigration papers which was funny. I then went to images and saw “a history of ds106” cover and kept seeing the clock shown below:
I saw dry food dispensers and some other technology parts to computers and software a lot too. Mainly I kept seeing the Immigration paper thing though. I guess a lot of people are immigrating.
This daily create is one of my favorites; I enjoyed reading other responses. The prompt was to tell what made us smile today, and honestly, nothing did for me today. To be vulnerable I felt lonely today, and as of lately. But reading that other people smiled and thinking of other people smiling made me happy. It made me feel connected. I wish you all more smiles!
This daily create was pretty fun thinking of ideas actually. For today we had to think of what kind of flag we would be. I was thinking of some kind of gym flag, mixing something into the American flag, or doing the American flag with Italian colors. Butttttt I was really hungry at the time of doing this and decided that I would be best represented by a pizza flag! Here you go!
My friend Dylan makes me smile each and every day. He is always happy and it is hard to not be happy around Dylan. He is very positive and loving to all of his peers. The way he makes the world light up is special.
