Four Seater Bicycle

This Daily Create is brought to you by imagination and AI! I had to redesign a bicycle with a modern feature while keeping it nature friendly of course.

For my post, I used Craiyon, an AI image generator. I gave it the following prompt: solar electric bike for four people.

It gave me the following image:

I chose to do a classic two wheel bike, except this one can SEAT FOUR people! Additionally, it uses a solar panel to operate. I think this would be great to have especially because it includes a sun shade as well. Don’t know about the safety on this but thank you Craiyon for creating this unique bicycle for not only me but some friends as well!

The Letter C

For my first Daily Create of the week, I had a bit of a weird one.

We were provided a prompt from @MagicRealismBot and had to figure out what happens next.

The provided prompt was:

A witch smokes a cigarette in a city. She is thinking about the letter “C”. There is a hobbit standing right behind her.

I continued it with the following on Mastodon:

The hobbit has a mischievous grin as he tilts his head and asks, “What secrets lie within the letter C?”

The witch becomes intrigued of his similar sense of curiosity and smiles down at the hobbit.

Later they are both spotted walking down a dark, mysterious path heading to explore the mysteries of the letter C.

My thought process for this was to keep it mysterious since the prompt itself was too. I also wanted to make the two characters amiable and adventurous. Therefore, I had the witch smile at the hobbit and they were both seen heading to explore the mysteries together.

Here’s an image on what I think the hobbit would look like:

Now what do I think is behind the letter C? Coffee of course. Both the characters are now on the way to explore the best cafe and what it has to offer.

Endangered Poetry

For my second Daily Create, I chose to have ChatGPT help me out with it since our class theme is AI.

I gave ChatGPT the following prompt: make up some really cool short poem and write it in some cool format

It generated the following:

Now here’s where I had some trouble. On my Mastodon post, I was able to paste what I had copied from ChatGPT with no problems. The format and spacing were all the same. Now when I pasted this onto here, it did not keep the same format or space so I had to manually add all the spaces. Additionally, Mastodon has a text limit so I was unable to include the entire poem on there. However, I included the entire poem on here!

I added a really cool background picture that I got from Pinterest to add some more creativity to it. It made it so much better in my opinion. The picture helps incorporate the stars and darkness as discussed in the poem and really ties it all together!

Week 9 Daily Creates

Let’s get into it!

On Wednesday, 3/20, the prompt was,

“Here is a prompt from @MagicRealismBot: ‘A witch smokes a cigarette in a city. She is thinking about the letter ‘C’. There is a hobbit standing right behind her.’
your challenge is to tweet out what happens next, in words and/or images. What does your mind’s eye say?”

I decided to just let myself write without really thinking about it, so here’s my post,

A witch smokes a cigarette in a city. She is thinking about the letter “C”. There is a hobbit standing right behind her.

“The cafe’s across the street,” the witch says through a puff of smoke.

The hobbit shifts to stand slightly behind and to the left, so that he can see past the witch, but not get too close. “Do you think she’s in there?”

The witch flicks the cigarette to the ground after breathing one more cloud of smoke. “Certainly.”

This was fun! I imagined they were teaming up, but the witch obviously had a lot of power over the hobbit. The hobbit wants to be helpful, but doesn’t want to overstep, in fear of the witch.

Another detail, the “she” that they’re talking about is someone named Cora. I couldn’t fit it because of word count, but it doesn’t really matter! It’s open to interpretation who that is and why they want to see her. I just needed a name with a C.

I tried to use a lot of c’s in this, which was actually kinda fun! I like these Daily Creates where I get to write stuff, it makes me happy.

On Thursday, 3/21, the prompt was,

“World Poetry Day is celebrated on 21 March, and was declared by UNESCO in 1999, “with the aim of supporting linguistic diversity through poetic expression and increasing the opportunity for endangered languages to be heard”. (Wikipedia) Share an endangered language poem (yes you can make it up, it’s ds106!).”

So, I went into a rabbit hole of endangered languages (this stuff is so interesting yet so sad), and here is my post,

“I found this poem written by Mikeas SĂĄnchez in the language Zoque, from Southern Mexico. This is the English translation:

Somos Millones [We Are Millions]
”Come to my land,
Set up your anhillitaing machines
Tenderness anhilitors,
show us the pain and desperation,
the bullet-holes. We are millions,
and we are not afraid of you”

The history involved building and expanding the roads/buildings when there was no welfare for it. Very inspiring.”

I wanted to share with you guys the actual poem, which I found through an article revolving around endanged languages:

MinĂ€’ Ă€jn’ najsomo,

nijpya’À mij ntĂ€nh’kutyam

ntyaj’yajpapĂ€is

NtĂ€’ isanhdziramĂ€’ te’ toya, te yajxu’ijtkuy,

te’ tujkuyis pyĂ€mi’.

SonerampĂ€te’

jinh’mi’ natztame’”

It’s actually so inspiring, just knowing that this writer wrote this in retailation towards the government, and how the poem is not only about saving the language, but the people. I don’t know, I just think it’s really cool.

On Friday, 3/22, the prompt was

The bicycle is a nature friendly and healthy way of transport. Show us a new design for a bicycle. Tricycles, quacycles are allowed too. What modern features should it have?

So, here was my post,

Have you ever been wandering around on your bicycle and suddenly, there’s a pesky lake in the way?

Well, fear not! With this new design, the water isn’t an obstacle in your path now! Go straight over it with our all-new inflatable wheels, designed to cross over any body of water!

I don’t know why I thought of a bicycle on water, but it was the first thing to come to mind. I wanted the post to also sound like a commercial (maybe because I’m inspired from the radio commercials we’re making).

I ended up using an AI image generator called Deep AI, to my own disappointment, and the Fantasy World Generator with just the simple prompt of, “riding bicycle on water” for this. I generated a lot of different options, feeling uneasy the entire time, but I think this one is pretty. I’m just afraid it’s stealing an art style from someone. But, I’m not using it for profit, so I guess it’s maybe okay. Still don’t like it, though.

That’s all the Daily Creates from this week! I hope you guys liked them, I think these were really eye opening for me and fun! Got my brain working

Daily Create – 3/22/2024

Today’s daily create was to create a new design for a bicycle and so you can see below that I just added a motor to it. The rest of the bike looks pretty simple with the handlebars and brakes and everything but the legs rests insinuate that an engine is present since they are not pedals like they normally would. The bike even has some shocks on it for some better suspension. I think the image was pretty good and turned out pretty close to what I wanted it to be. Furthermore, honestly, if this bike was a real thing, I would 100% buy it, I mean it looks really cool the longer I look at it.

Daily Create Roundup: Week 9

Here are my daily creates for week 9!

This first one was an AI generated photo of Mona Lisa if she was drawn in 2020 during the Covid era. Putting a modern spin onto this historical painting is kinda hilarious now that I look at it.

Next was to use the bead art tool website to turn any image of my choosing into bead art. I like how the city picture I used turned very linear. Some of the buildings look like they’re spelling out a word, like in the far left where the number 8 looks like it’s drawn.

The last create of the week was to upload my interpretation of “Agent 106”. I drew inspiration from the game Valorant and used the agent Cypher as my rendition of Agent 106. The use of cameras and other tech tools makes Cypher somewhat of a media enthusiast himself.

Endangered Language Poetry

For today’s daily create I am showing an endangered language poem. The poem I have chosen is Lumic Lament. I chose this poem because it is it really goes into depth about the resilience of endangered languages and the efforts to preserve them against the passage of time. Hope you enjoy!

Lumic Lament

In the whispers of the ancient trees, Where shadows dance in silent breeze, Lumic tongues once sang with glee, Now fade into eternity.

Upon the hills, where echoes weep, And memories in darkness sleep, Our words, like petals, fall and wilt, As time’s cruel hand our voices stilt.

With each passing day, a verse is lost, A treasure buried ‘neath frost, Our heritage, a fragile flame, Flickers faint, forgotten name.

Yet in the heart of the night, When stars ignite their guiding light, We raise our voices, soft and low, To reclaim the words we used to know.

For though the world may turn away, And silence veils the light of day, In the depths of our souls, the language thrives, A beacon of hope, where memory survives.

So let us weave our stories bold, In Lumic tales, both young and old, And with each word, let defiance rise, Against the fate that silence tries.

For in our language, we find our truth, Our bond to ancestors, ageless youth, And though the path ahead may seem unclear, Our voices echo, strong and near.

In the whispers of the ancient trees, Our Lumic song shall forever seize, A testament to resilience, strong and true, In the heart of every word we renew.

Daily Create 3 of 3, Week 9

Agent 106 was dispatched to the home of Dr. Oblivion and recorded their conversation with his smart eyeglasses.
