This week was pretty easy, I had to reach out to other classmates which I enjoyed and we started to collaborate for our radio show. I also enjoyed finding an AI tool that can help out in class and help each other. I picked a AI tool called HyperWrite, in this app it helps you with creating ideas on writing an assignment, as well as, rewriting assignments it also offers different templates depending on your projects. I find it pretty cool to look at other students AI tools that can also help us do our assignments. This week assignments were pretty short.

It was able to give me a outline and broke down each section on how I should write it. It can also help with as both business and marketing aspects. Such as, generating emails to respond in a professional manner. Assist on cover letters and LinkedIn Post Generators. On the Marketing aspect, this tool can act as an Expert Marketing Assistant which can provide expert advice, also being able to generate a summary into a Facebook post and help us advertise on social media platforms by targeting our audience. With this application it would overall help us market ourselves better and help us save time by minimizing our mistakes performed in the company. In addition, Help us get our ideas flowing on projects from its AI professional advice.

After seeing a few of my classmate’s work at the time there is not many, but enough to catch the drift. I see they have very creative designs and how detailed they are on the PSA assignments. Dolly had mixed emotions about this PSA video about “We WILL NOT BE SIlENCED”. After watching these public service announcements, noticing that there is a different story being told from others working in Aggressive Technology. She never realized how AI is having a negative impact on human individuals working for this company. After acknowledging this announcement she took time to digest the situation. In a few days, Dolly saw that there were a lot of people against Aggressive Technology on how it took over human jobs and replaced them with Artificial Intelligence. As Dolly processed what was happening and why, she realized the company was able to better their performance by 30%, With the help of Artificial intelligence taking over their job position. She starts to wonder if AI is really beneficial to humans. Once Dolly, Saw Leila’s propaganda picture, She chuckles and wonders if what that poster says, could it be true…? Dolly could not believe what she was seeing. After she watches another PSA video “Aggressive Technologies” she feels a sense of comfort that AI can still have a positive impact on humans. Still confused and lost on what to believe in, she does not know what side she’s supposed to support, she wonders how will this whole thing end.

For this PSA assignment, I decided to make an announcement about artificial intelligence about how helpful it is and how it can assist in any type of situation. With AI you can generate any type of art such as images, voice generators, sounds, and even videos. In addition, you can have an AI robot friend such as our AI characters from this course. To create this assignment I used the application Audacity to add the clips together, Elevenlabs.io for the voice AI generator with my AI character to voice over it and I uploaded it on Soundcloud.

For this assignment, I created a propaganda poster that persuades the audience to live life with color and creativity. With creativity in our lives, it makes it more unique, exciting, and thrilling to live. The colors on the poster represent, a mixture of positivity, enthusiasm, calm, and freshness. Displaying those colors can catch the audience’s attention and give off the sensation of a positive message. Making people start thinking they are limitless and are able to do and think whatever they want. For example, the color yellow automatically makes you think/feel happiness and warmth. My AI character Dolly, is a creative and colorful character, she’s the type of person to bring joy and light into any environment she’s in. Such as, when she worked at Aggressive Technologies company she was able to help and assist in changing the work environment in a positive way. By helping Mr. Hydro she was able to improve the company’s performance and change the work environment the best way she could. Dolly is the type of character to bring joy and help others in need. I designed this poster in Adobe Express it was quiet easy to create I took time to see which colors would correlate with my AI character and I liked how it came out.

This week I had a small issue in deciding what option I could do. I wanted to do option A. Talk to the Bot, it seemed fun and easy to create the video of Dr. Oblivion. As I started to create the assignment on Sunday, it took the whole day for it to convert the audio to a video so I gave up on it. I was upset it took hours for it to process but, in the end, it worked out well. I decided to do option B of 3 assignment banks and Developing your character. I had fun creating the 3 video assignment bank. Creating the commercial for a solar lawn mower was pretty fun. I had the idea of a solar lawn mower from a project I did in high school so I was pretty excited to create a commercial, it was almost like seeing it come to life. For the second assignment bank, I did a TikTok of my dog. I had a video I took of her over winter break and I added a filter on her making her look disfigured, it was pretty funny. Lastly, I created a video that correlates with the theme for this course and it is 8 helpful tips for using AI. Since AI is and has been around and is still developing I thought it would be a cool idea to make a video of how to use AI and what not to do with it. Overall, I enjoyed learning new applications and creating videos. As well as, creating a background story for my AI character.
