When I searched ds106 on google.com this was one of the images that popped up lol. I don’t know what ds106 has to do with cereal dispensers so this is what made me laugh about the whole thing. Here’s the link if you want to check it out https://www.katom.com/209-DS106.html.
As we finished our first ever production of Three Point Chatter, I want to build off of my AI character, Jonathan, and his involvement with Aggressive Technologies. I plan to build my video about manipulating others to join the power of Aggressive Technologies since it is becoming the most forceful entity in the United States, you are either with it or not. Those who are not with it will fall in the dust and left behind for the cleanup. Something new that I tend to incorporate is having a AI voice ask questions to my Jonathan. I picked this up after listening to ds106 Radio yesterday. My main factor will be propaganda to influence people to join with the program (Aggressive Technologies), hoping they will not be left out of cutting edge artificial intelligence & market opportunities to make a boat load of money. I will most likely use iMovie to create sounds and edits so that my video comes out straight.
While listening to Aggressive Testimonials on ds106 Radio, I found the use of the AI voiceover caught my attention. I am not sure which AI voiceover was used exactly or where the source came from but it was definitely really cool to hear it asking questions and responding with adequate reason. Also, since I enjoy the NBA, the use of AI & analytics seemed very interesting and will for sure be used more in the future. I heard many pros & cons about AI being used in professional sports, but I am still not totally positive about how I feel about the use of AI in sports. One thing that could have been added to the downside of AI analytics is the fact of human reasoning & factors. Overall, this was my favorite ds106 Radio show, other than mine :).
As I woke up on the morning of April 3rd, I peeped out the window to see rain falling onto the streets below. Now many would see a rainy day as slow & perhaps even sad, but not me. As I walked to class, I felt a presence of nature and silence, something we don’t find very often in our everyday lives. Towards the middle of my walk through campus, I noticed a small bird, a wren, sitting on a broken tree branch with a fellow mate. This made me smile because it reminded me of how even though the dead tree branch was incapable of living, there was another life form taking its place, with death, comes life.
To start off this week, I decided to complete my two daily creates. You can find them here (Daily Create: March 25th & Daily Create: Dave!) if you wish to check them out. Following my daily creates, I began continuous progress on my radio show. I used my knowledge of iMovie to work on some intros and commercials that could be added. That said, my other group members have worked on banners and outros that can be used in our casting development. Overall, the week went by quicker than expected but we have finished with a final product that will allow viewers to open their imagination and explore the realms of different lives in AI form.
For week two of working on the radio show, my group and I have created a script and outline to accommodate the 5-7 minutes we need to complete our radio show. My group has also done a few reruns to make sure that we met all the guidelines & standards that are required for a proper grade. I think that we will successfully bring together your imagination and thought for a masterpiece of Three Point Chatter.
This is my Codex Seraphinianus. The first weird veggie is a carrot infused with grapes stemming from the top. The second, in the top right, is a watermelon root with broccoli coming from the top. The veggie located in the bottom right is a red pepper with lettuce/ broccoli falling overtop of the pepper.
To start this week, I wanted to finish all my daily creations before I had to switch lanes and work on my assignments for the radio show. Check out my daily creations, Daily Create: 03/19, Daily Create: What’s Next?, and Endangered Poem. My favorite one that I produced was “Endangered Poem” because the Hawaiian poem that I used represented a sense of safety for those who love nature as I do.
My progress in forming a radio show has been coming along better than expected. My partners have been more than willing to help and assist with creating ideas and concepts that will be used during our show. We have met and discussed what our intentions are with the show as well as how to formulate a solid basis for our viewers.
Using iMovie I made Radio Intro and Quick Break. These two Audio Assignments can be found in the assignment bank for those who want to make new ones. Also, the intro will fit perfectly into our show. With that, our sponsors provide funding for us to be able to produce such a radio show.
