For this Daily Create I was supposed to use a random animal generator to see what new pet I would get. For mine I got a Bandicoot which I never really heard of so I had to look it up and it was a pretty interesting animal and would be a cool pet to own probably if it wasn’t a wild animal.
Island Survival
For this Daily Create I was asked if I could survive stranded if I had the necessary survival supplies. I wanna say yes that I could, but in a stressful situation like that I feel like I would fail and need someone to rescue me after a few days
A New Secret Agent
For this Daily Create I was supposed to use a agent name generator to create a new secret agent. For mine I got the name Agent Green Archer and then I used an ai art generator to bring her to life!
For our group’s final project, we decided to do a tv show that centers around our course characters. We were inspired by shows like Vanderpump Rules and The Real Housewives of Orange County. Not only is our show inspired by those TV series, but we wanted our trailer to parody those TV shows as well.
We met on Monday in the HCC filming studio. We set up in front of the green sccreen and took a lot of videos of us doing different poses. We took individual shots and group shots to get a variety of clips into the trailer. We also recorded lines to add over the trailer just like they do in the classic reality tv trailers
Martina used Premiere Pro to edit the trailer, and just sent it back today. I think it came out so good and I am really impressed with her videography skills. She just learned how to use green screen for this project. I think she deserves extra credit for that.
I had a pretty chill weekend! Probably, a little too chill though, as I didn’t get much work done. The only thing I could really say that I did was continue working on what my group had planned for our final project. We will meet on Monday to film some parts of it, which should be fun!
Final Project Trailer
My group decided to start of the week on Monday by filming at the green screen studio in the HCC. We just filmed some intros, as well as some clips that we can edit together. Martina then took on the task of editing the whole thing together (thank you again Martina!), as long as the group set up the order of everything and sent in all the audios. Here it is!
Daily Creates
Daily Create #1
Our first daily create of the week was to use this random animal generator, and make whatever animal we got our pet! I got this fish, which is named Tang. I thought he looked quite lazy, so I thought he would love to sleep in his ship-wreck, as well as love eating fish food.
Daily Create #2
For the second daily create, we were asked how we would survive in the wilderness! I already know I would not do very well. I am a very social person, and I rely a lot on technology (which are my own faults). I think I could last for a couple of days, but eventually want to give up. But, I also thought of one of my favorite childhood shows, Total Drama Island. I see myself in some of the characters, specifically Courtney, although they are all a bit crazy.

Lastly, for the last daily create, it is National Pet Day! We were asked how we would celebrate, which sadly I will be spending it talking to them over FaceTime. They are at my home with my parents, so I only really get to see them over breaks. But, I will send them a Happy National Pet Day from here at school!
Overall
Overall, it was a pretty chill week, again! I am excited, but also nervous for the workload of the next couple of weeks, but I am ready to work with such a great group again as we work on the final project!

Daily Creates
This week, I did Wednesday’s, Thursday’s, and Friday’s Daily Creates.
For Wednesday, the prompt was to use the Secret Agent Name Generator. The name I got was Agent Copper Nightmare. I then looked on Canva to find a design that matched the name. Because of the word ‘copper’, I wanted to find someone with a hair color that was as close to copper as possible. I also wanted the character to be evil because of the word ‘midnight’. I ended up landing on this design. I incorporated the dark clouds in the background for an eery effect
For Thursday’s Daily Create, the prompt was to use an overheard quote as an epigraph. The quote I overheard was “It’s all fun and games when you’ve placed all the boxes, and it’s not working because you misplaced one comma.” I was inspired by the lyrics from the song Take a Break from Hamilton:
In a letter I received from you two weeks ago I noticed a comma in the middle of a phrase It changed the meaning, did you intend this? One stroke and you’ve consumed my waking days It says
“My dearest, Angelica” With a comma after dearest You’ve written “My dearest, Angelica”
The original conversation was about coding, but I took some artistic liberties to have the poem match the theme of the previous lyrics. Here it is:

The last Daily Create was my favorite of the week. The prompt was to show your pet for National Pet day. I love my pets more than anything and I will take any chance to show them off! Here they are:

Final Trailer
The assignment for this week was to make a trailer for our final project. My group’s theme for the project is a reality show with our course characters. We met up in the HCC studio to record the trailer on Monday. We stayed for about 45 minutes and took a lot of different shots. Martina edited it and sent it over today and it came out so good!
This week was great and seeing the finished trailer was the perfect way to end the week!
This week I worked on finalizing the story and theme of how I wanted to apporach the final project. I also worked on and completed the trailer for the project.
I look forward to completing the Final Project and preseting a story about an AI taken over world
Along with the the trailer I completed 3 TDC this week, with no of them sticking out of being any particular fun or exciting
This a trailer for the upcoming final project. I used canvas to edit the video and put the glitching effects. I decided to use a bright red title to catch the attention of the view and the glitching effects to go alone along with the theme of a malfunction AI or issiues with technology. I also found helicoptor sound to match the cyberpunk themed helicopters I used in the trailer
I felt inspired by my stabby baby. I admit I rerolled after I got a river fish…I was like whaaaa that’s dinner not a pet. I used picrew for my spy, it was an interesting name reminded me of those British spies with the round table names. As for the one for today I hear that quite a bit so seemed right to give it a deeper meaning. I am all for chaos. Anarchy and what not, civil disobedience boo yaa. Maybe that’s just because I am young. This week I also worked on my trailer for the project it came out cutely but as I work more the further away, I seem to stray from being a cute ai to something eviler. Still not all AI is bad y’all they were programmed with a task and there for are simply there to complete it. Who are we to give labels like good and bad when we are the problem. Me and Canva are busy being besties as I am and move audios and clips and scenes.

For this project I used 3 sources a Canva was the main source where I did my best to bring my character to life. Even if it doesn’t have any warmth or a pulse. For my final project I plan to create a story about an Ai that gains ‘life’ an awareness of its existence and what it may mean in the world. To explain it is a young life that has been created like a baby. Not fully fleshed out yet but that’s what the next few weeks are for!
I really wanted to make it smoother however I am not a professional animator, so I am not going to stress about it. Still another thing is that I wished I centered it better, but I forgot my computer sits to the side, so it only seemed center till I UPLOADED IT ;-; Aside from that I like how the sounds came out. I used iMovie and had a select few options but with volume control and clipping it came out just right!

I made it in Canva like I said using shapes and animation affects to bring it to life. It’s simple but each movement is me staring at the screen wondering how tiny a frame can be before I can click on it. Unlike Audacity I can’t just zoom in.
Still I overall liked how it came out could’ve used more sounds but still really good in my books.
