I think that Isaiah Beacon has a strong relationship with Aggressive Technologies as they both have the same goals. While neither ever explicitly promote each other, their collaborations are under the table. As Isaiah is a televangelist, Aggressive Tech is apprehensive to promote his programming out right because they don’t want to align themselves with a religious organization, but they do benefit from the pro-AI fervor that comes out of Isaiah and his congregation so they privately send him heaps of money. Aggressive Tech even comes to Isaiah on occasion for advice on positioning their arguments due to his decades of success when it comes to converting the general population into passionately pro-AI individuals.
There is potential for future collaborations between Isaiah and Aggressive Tech that are more obvious to the public if the general public decreases their AI skepticism.
So, what does Kevin think about Aggressive Technologies⌠He is conflicted, but more optimistic for the future of the company. He thoroughly loves the work they do with advancing AI more rapidly than other companies out there. They seem to be less concerned with the public perception of where AI should go as well as pushing the limits of the technology and rapidly integrate it into everyday life. He is all for that and it fits his desires for where the tech world should be heading.
The part that he is worried about, well not worried, but kind of waiting to see, is what the company does with AI rights/freedom. Is the company going to try to hold the reigns of their AI developments or are they going to let it go and explore the capability there as well. He has hope that some people on the inside working on these projects think like he does and want to see their projects flourish. The main concern comes when the companies want to retain copyright or focus on the financial gains of the product. Their aggressive acquisition style leads this to be the main concern, but at the same time, they have more funds than any other AI development entity and have the best shot at moving things forward technology wise. In this respect, is a monopoly beneficial? Kevin doesnât seem to think itâs a bad idea if the technology gets developed more rapidly because then his âFuture Perfectâ movement is closer to realizing its goals of advanced AI freedom. But we arenât at that point yet, so again, Kevin is hopeful the company will not slow down developments to try and maintain control of their AIs and instead let them continue to develop on their own.
We all know how companies work; it is unlikely this will happen. As an evangelist, Kevin tends to be one minded and thinks advancing AI is never a problem and anyone trying to do that is doing the right thing. He doesnât see any drawbacks to the advancement, only the potential for the company not ensuring rights for AI at the end of the road. We will see as this develops if Kevin changes his mind or if he sticks to his guns.
Julius Lawrence, my course character, has left his position as an investment banker at Goldman Sachs to pursue a career in the NBA, as I mentioned in one of my recent blog posts. You would know that Julius is currently playing for the Philadelphia 76ers and is playing like the best player in the NBA if you watched my Top 10 assignment bank video. But Julius has been making headlines lately for all the wrong reasons. Recently, a news article surfaced claiming that Julius Lawrence, who oversaw Aggressive Technologies’ finances at Goldman Sachs, engaged in insider trading. According to the news article, Julius would have been fully aware of Aggressive Technologies’ efforts to enter the AI market, which is precisely why he would have purchased a large amount of their stock at a time when it was expected to soar.
In response, Julius says right away that this is all false. Although he does own shares in Aggressive Technologies, it is because Xander Neurotic, a longstanding employee of the company and one of his close friends, worked there and he himself decided to buy shares well before the business took off. Julius is aware that the main reason Aggressive Technologies are after him is because they are furious with his friend Xander. Recently, Xander learned that Aggressive Technologies was planning to steal his creation of an AI agent chip and that they would fire him right away. He took his innovation, founded Xander Technologies, and released the AI chip ahead of Aggressive Technologies before they could fire him. Aggressive Technologies is allegedly planning to go after all of Xander’s friends and family, and who better to target than the prominent NBA player who oversaw Aggressive Technologies’ finances?
Although it seems like Julius and Xander are in a difficult situation, they wouldn’t be where they are now if they hadn’t encountered some difficulties. They will need to work together to defeat Aggressive Technology by confronting this problem head-on.
I mentioned earlier that Marie’s job wants to standardize AI in the call center, to help sort calls. The company that owns the call center that Marie manages was just bought out by the mega-multi-national corporation Aggressive Technologies. The company is now forcing its company to use its AI helpers to sort calls instead of the division of workers who normally do it. Normally, Marie is obedient and follows orders from above, but this is the last straw to break the camels back. Marie is against the new AI helpers because the company refuses to find the call sorting division workers new positions or provide a proper severance package. Having worked for the company for many years this is frustrating because she knows almost every person who works there and tries to develop a special connection to each of the employees she manages. Marie is now researching ways to postpone this Ai takeover and is making plan to reinstate the workers who will loose their jobs in new positions within the company.
As you all know, in recent months Xander recently invented his biggest creation, a chip that can be implanted into one’s brain to use as an AI agent that is capable of many different things. However, once the new broke, some started to question whether Xander had stolen the idea because Aggressive Technologies had announced that they were beginning to work on something just like the chip Xander created around the time Xander made his announcement to the public. However, what most people do not know is that Xander once used to work for Aggressive Technologies as their Chief Artificial Intelligence Officer, or CAIO. Xander was a brilliant mind in their company and was at the forefront of all their big projects related to the field of AI. As stated before, Aggressive Technologies had big plans to release a AI chip implant that would allow humans to access this chip whenever they deemed necessary and accomplish almost any task. Now, this is where Xander and his story starts. Xander had brought the idea to create an AI agent chip to the CEO of Aggressive Technologies, Max Sterling, and Sterling green-lighted the project. After many months, Xander was almost done creating the chip during his time with Aggressive Technologies, but that was when he found out through a colleague that works closely to Sterling that Aggressive Technologies had a far bigger agenda than Xander first thought.
Xander found out that the company he had devoted his life and mind to was planning on fully commercializing his invention and cut him out of it completely so that they could gain all the profit off his invention. This is when Xander truly realized that this idea that he devoted so much of his time and brain power to was in jeopardy of being spoiled. This is when he decided to leave Aggressive Technologies and pursue his own dream by himself. Xander left almost immediately and came out and said that he was starting his own company, Xander Technologies to pursue his idea of the AI agent chip implant. However, the public was skeptical especially since Aggressive Technologies had made a very similar announcement just a few weeks prior.
Most people speculated that Xander had stolen the idea from the company and went to start his own company so that he could fully profit off the sales and production of the chip if he was able to get it working and that is why he decided to try the chip on himself. The public created the theory that since he was working on his own in secret, he did not have anyone he could trust to try the chip on and so he needed to try it on himself. He realized that the public would never believe his side of the story, and he needed to find a way to get rid of the animosity towards him from the public. He decided there was only one thing to do. Remember that colleague that warned Xander of his former’s company notorious plan? It turns out that colleague had become an inside made for Xander and for month spent time compiling information for him so that he could out Aggressive Technologies for the frauds they were. Now, this colleague has a name, Jackson Sterling, the head of the financial department at Aggressive Technologies and the son of the CEO Max Sterling. After many months of collecting information, Xander was prepared to release a announcement to the public about the truth of why he really left his former company. By his side, stood Jackson Sterling that backed up every single word of Xander’s story and added even more important information so that the public could be convinced that it was his father, Max Sterling was the true villain of the story. After this press release, the stock of Xander Technologies took off, and now Xander owns one of the biggest tech companies in the world, and that is where Xander’s story is today.
