This week was super fun. I got to meet my group mates and come up with a name and theme for our radio show. I am very excited to start working on Ravioli Radio and I am really happy to know that Dr. Ravioli is very well liked. I didn’t want to steal all of the spotlight but my groupmates all agreed on Ravioli Radio and the title and as Dr. Ravioli being the host of our radio show. I am super excited to see where this goes and I cant wait to work with my group mates on this project.

The other project we were asked to complete this week was an AI Tool pitch. I chose the site Koala which has a very good image generator and even has a chat feature that can be used to help in any way. My pitch can be accessed here. I used a free text to speech tool and recorded and and edited it in Audacity. I really like the AI text to speech and will most likely use it in my radio show. I experimented a little more with Koala and I think this is my favorite AI image generator. Here is an Image Koala created for me.

Finally I completed my three daily creates this week. They were super fun to create and explore. The first one I completed was turning a photo into a coloring page. I chose the original photo of Dr. Ravioli on his moped. It was a very detailed photo so it did not turn out as good as I had hoped but I still think it looks really cool.

The second one I completed was about addiction. What am I addicted to that I can not go a day without? the obvious answer is girl scout cookies (specifically samoas)

Third and finally, I completed the daily create where we had to add a modern object into a really old painting or photograph and I chose to add a cell phone into The Creation of Adam painting.

Dr. Ravioli thinks Koala would be an excellent tool to help expand Agressive Technologies AI Arsenal. Here is what he has to say.

We did not have a lot due this week but that does not mean It was not worth while. The first thing we were tasked with completing was making some propaganda. I found this super fun to make and even found a new AI Image generator that I love and will continue using from now on. My propaganda can be accessed here. I used google slides to add the text and overall had a really fun time experimenting with this and adding my character Dr. Ravioli. I hope we will be able to make more propaganda in the future.

The second thing we were tasked with completing was making a public service announcement which can be accessed here. I used an AI text to speech generator and had a lot of fun picking a good news/speaking voice. I included my character Dr. Ravioli as always and am so happy to be able to expand his backstory and make him the best mad genius immortal cat he can be. I will never forget about Dr. Ravioli and I genuinely love his character and will keep him close to my heart for ever.

This week we were asked to complete three daily creates and I did just that.

The first one I completed was the postage stamp one. This was super fun to play around with and I used one of my saved AI generated images of Dr. Ravioli.

The second Daily Create I completed was the Net Art which was very odd. I think out of everyone mine might be the best because it does show an orange cat on a moped it just clips out some of the rest of the image. Either way this was an interesting tool to learn about.

Lastly I played around with the oscillators and came up with a reason the triangle is so excited. This was interesting and a fun way to be creative.

Side note! I did not know we had to post our daily creates so I apologize, but they are all on mastodon and I have completed every one asked.

For this assignment I used Audacity and Speechify to make this Public Service Announcement. This was a really fun project to work on with Dr. Ravioli. I enjoyed adding some more backstory to him and just having fun in general. I really like the AI generated text to speech and I think it works really well. It was fun to be creative with this and find the nice news kind of music for the background. I faded the music at the end which was new to me, I am starting to become a lot more familiar with audacity the more I use it. I can not wait to continue with this after break.

This week we were tasked with making some propaganda that had to do with AI. I used Koala to generate my image of my character Dr. Ravioli in a very cyber world and copied it into google slides to add the text. Dr. Ravioli does not think this is propaganda as he believes it to be true. AI is the future and he will stand by that decision. This was a super fun activity and I really enjoyed using Koala and will most likely be using that from now on to generate images. I think it gives the most realistic and fun adaptation of my prompts. I learned a lot more about propaganda than I had in the past and this was really fun to come up with and experiment with. I absolutely love my character Dr. Ravioli and can not wait to keep developing him as we move forward in the class.

This week was mainly focused on film and character development. There was not much due this week but I had fun either way. I really enjoyed learning more about film making and video editing while also incorporating my character Dr. Ravioli. The first thing I did this week were the three assignment banks. The first one can be accessed here. I chose to complete the 30 second memory assignment where I chose to show pictures of my first cruise over the summer with my parents and grandparents. It was the most fun I had had in a long time and I was really excited to share some memories that I hold dear from that trip. The second assignment bank I chose was the Whisper Challenge which can be accessed here. This was really fun to complete and I got to incorporate my friends in the activity. It was especially fun to explain to my friends what I needed them to do with me. Most of them hadn’t played Telephone in a really long time including me so it was really fun to do that again and make a video about it. I edited the video and added some music and I think it came out pretty well. The last assignment bank I completed was the TikTok of your pet which can be accessed here. This was super fun to create as I am a pretty big user of TikTok and I absolutely love my cat Bayvah Kitty so it was fun to give her some appreciation on my domain and I also really loved giving her a backstory that coincides with Dr. Ravioli.

The last thing I did this week was develop my character Dr. Ravioli more. I really enjoyed brining in some lore from previous posts and linking them all together to fit in with Aggressive Technologies. This character development can be seen here. This was a very fun project to complete and I learned a lot about Aggressive Technologies since I did some reasurch before hand. I think this was my favorite thing to complete this week especially since I got to work with my wonderful creation Dr. Ravioli. I can not wait to continue with his development and see him take over the world one day. I will always be a Dr. Ravioli supporter even if he burns down a fish stick factory.

Dr. Ravioli has been working with the mega-multi-national corporation Aggressive Technologies for some years now. He is partners with them as he is experimenting in AI and has been trying to incorporate them into his moped manufacturing plant “Baby Kitty” and his hospital “Dr. Ravioli Hospital.” He hopes to install an AI assistant in all of the mopeds that sound and look exactly like Dr. Ravioli. He plans to take over the world even electronically but no one knows that yet. He has been spreading the news on his radio show Dr. Ravioli Radio and he has been getting audience approval to continue with these adjustments. He also plans to create a whole new moped that will change all mopeds forever. By working with Aggressive Technologies (which he plans to buy out) he is able to use their equipment and expertise to make his dreams a reality. He is currently workshopping a flying moped that will eventually take him to space where he plans to build a city on Saturn. He is very friendly with the workers at Aggressive especially the founder David. He is unfortunately not very well liked by his receptionist Cheyenne as she was his 35th wife and she is still a little upset Dr. Ravioli moved on from her so quickly. He has been trying to win back their friend ship buy giving her as many mopeds as she desires but all she wants is the secret formula to the infamous fish stick factory that mysteriously burned down a few months ago. She is not sue how he managed to rescue the secret formula and not the 36 casualties but she knows what she wants and she will continue to make Dr. Raviolis life very difficult at Aggressive Technologies until the day she dies (She is immortal thanks to Dr. Ravioli). Dr. Ravioli is excited to continue working on his mopeds and achieving the impossible with his friend Dave.

My last assignment bank I chose this week was the 30 Second Memory. I had to make a collage film incorporating clips from a memory and I chose my first cruise last summer. My parents and I went with my grandparents and we toured the Caribbean. It was so much fun and relaxing, I ended up having to cut a lot of photos because it was way longer than 30 seconds. I ended up getting it to 31 seconds which I think is as god as it will get. I used ClipChamp to make this video and it was a lot of fun. I used some free music ClipChamp offered and added some fade transitions to each of the photos. This was a really cool project and I really enjoyed getting to look back on this amazing memory. I got to relive some of my favorite moments such as when we celebrated my birthday on the cruise and I was serenaded by one our our favorite waiters and given a beautiful cake I got to share with my family. Overall this was a very fun assignment and I learned a lot more on how to edit videos and make collage videos.

For this weeks Assignment Banks I chose to complete the Whisper Challenge, But Ds106. I recruited some of my friends to do this with me and it was a really project. I did have to edit it and cut some parts out because I was having a lot of trouble coming up with good prompts so there were some big pauses in between. I used ClipChamp to edit the video and even added some music which I think I am becoming a pro at using. I really like ClipChamp and I think it is really easy to use and figure out especially since they have their own free music. I incorporated the class Ds106 while also mainly focusing on Dr. Ravioli as he is the star of my Domain. This was a fun exercise and I can not wait to see what is next week.
