This is a Destination Poster I designed for a dystopian cyberpunk city called Neon Nexus. My favorite thing about creating this poster was the idea I had about creating a future Blendr rendered animation of a dystopian city similar to this. Although I took the background image from an account on Pinterest, I added elements such as the flying car, an interdimensional portal, a robocop, and my personal favorite, a robodog. I feel like artificial pets aren’t brought up enough when it comes to futuristic living, so I felt that it was important to incorporate robodog into this poster to spark some more conversation about the topic. This poster reminds me of something I would see in a PlayStation commercial or on a video game case when people still bought physical discs instead of downloading them like they do today.

While creating this dystopian destination poster, I couldn’t help but imagine the kind of ads and commercials we will start to see when new cities are built around advanced technology. Creating an animated advertisement for a dystopian city of some kind using a software like Blendr would definitely help me develop and refine my skills and creativity before creating a whole city.
